Carriage ride on Cape Arkona

Excursion tip: A horse-drawn carriage ride on Cape Arkona.

In Putgarten at the Rügenhof near the bus stop you will find a very special holiday treat. Here you will meet Michael Partl, an experienced coachman with real insider knowledge about the cape and the locals. You can choose between rides in a carriage or covered wagon (for the whole family) around Cape Arkona.
A stop in the fishing village of Vitt and time for a delicious fish sandwich are also possible.

The carriage and covered wagon rides are offered by:

The Rügenhof is definitely worth a visit. Many workshops and shops have settled on the estate and are happy to open their doors and their knowledge to guests. In the workshops, guests can take part in making their very own personal Rügen souvenir. At the Rügenhof you will find a candle workshop, a creative fashion atelier as well as a basket weaving workshop and an amber shop with a stone-cutting workshop, where you can watch the Rügen chalk men, the island’s mascots, being made. Offers such as the Rügenhof Café, with homemade soups of the day, coffee and cup cakes, provide for physical well-being.

So much to see on Rügen:
