Juliusruh with the Aquamaris Strandresidenz is located on the Wittow peninsula, which is in the north of Rügen, while the Mönchgut peninsula is in the southeast of the island. There are several ways to get from Juliusruh to the Mönchgut peninsula, depending on whether you are traveling by car, public transport or bicycle.

By car: The fastest and easiest way to get from Juliusruh to the Mönchgut peninsula is by car. From Juliusruh you follow the federal road B96 in southern direction, cross the Rügen bridge and continue on the B96 to Bergen. There you turn left onto the L29 road and follow it to the Mönchgut peninsula.

By public transport: There are several bus connections that lead from Juliusruh to the Mönchgut peninsula. For example, from Juliusruh you can take bus line 20 to Bergen train station and from there continue with bus line 18 to the Mönchgut peninsula. Alternatively, you can take bus line 23 to Göhren, which is located at the southern end of the peninsula.

By bike: The Mönchgut peninsula is also ideal for bike tours. From Juliusruh, you can cycle across the Wittow peninsula to Cape Arkona and from there head south along the Baltic coast on the cycle path. There are also bike rental stations on the peninsula where you can rent a bike. Therefore, it is a good tip to drive to the Mönchgut peninsula by car and rent a bike for the day.
